Question MyTouch 4g on at&t straight talk

Alright, I want to verify things before I make a decision. I currently have T-mobile prepaid with the MyTouch 4g and the service is pretty shotty, especially at my house. According to the coverage maps, at&t would be 10x better. My phone is unlocked. From reading this forum, most phone cannot access at&t's 3g service, only the EDGE network. Can my phone utilize 3g at&t service? When I go to ST or NET10 and select unlocked and put in my zip, At&t pops up.

Check if it support 1900 3g(crappy internet to research). If it does, lucky you. If not, then you are really stuck on edge.

    The Mytouch 4G cannot get AT&T 3G.

If the Original Poster has to buy another phone anyway, why not suggest a phone with both AT&T 3G bands? The Samsung Exhibit II only has Band II (1900) used by AT&T. It will not be able to data roam on T-Mobile if it has an AT&T SIM card. If it has a T-Mobile SIM card, it will not be able to data roam on AT&T.

Yeah I think it would be better to just get a at&t phone.
