Hey,
So I'm looking to transfer phone companies because I hate bell and a friend told me about a really good plan through a Telus EPP code. I don't work for that organization and was wondering are these things regularly checked or am I just being too cautious. It's the Ontario Principals/VPs epp.
Also, I can't even get my friend to activate the phone because his uncle activated the plan for him.
The dealer is Maxxim Mobility if anyone has dealt with them please let me know.
Thanks.

Well teachers/principals are government employees. My question is do they verify that I'm employed or do they just process my order without asking for ID/employment verification?
We have a Bell Corporate plan at work and a while back they suspended any new accounts and any upgrades for a little while.
When it started up again, they sent out a new "procedure" which included having an employee number and a limit of 2 accounts per person.
Our rep informed us that this was a direct result of too many "unofficial" members on this account and Bell was trying to address who was and was not entitled. I am not on that plan (because of my hatred for Bell) so I have no idea if they have or have not been successful in weeding out anyone that does not belong on this plan. I do know that the plan was a very good plan, but after the new changes took effect, along with some price increases it is now just average.
No offense, but if you don't work for the intended company or organization, you shouldn't be getting the plan. This can cause problems for the people who actually are entitled to it.
