your statement does not address the current data issues, are you saying that your e71 is not having intermittent data issues over the last 2 weeks?
Using a dressed up feature phone(i have used the E71) on a 45$ plan isn't that great of a deal, for most people. We love our Smartphones! and would like to continue the data habit that our phones are addicted to ;-)) and get upset when our drug dealer (ST) causes disruptions in the smooth supply.
Shame on you ST, you promised so much, and for so little... now you cant deliver...

The blame goes to AT&T. This affects all AT&T MVNOs.

Until you guys start supplying the information that I asked for a page or more ago, it is going to be impossible to offer you any advice on how to get data working.

I can tell you that I continue to experience no issues at all with respect to my data here in Portland, Oregon. My wife's data went out completely two days ago. I did extensive diagnosis and ultimately concluded that it was her phone. I deleted the APN settings on her phone and then re-set them, and her data started working again and has worked fine ever since, i.e. a device problem.

You think we haven't all reset our apns and all that? Or done all the steps that could be done from the customer side of things? Come on now. Don't treat us like we are all dumb. So your telling us all of our phones just decided to go crazy at once which is why everyone is having issues? No. Its the network and nothing we as customers can fix from our side of the phone.

Hey guys, I've been searching around for a way to resolve my data issues; which led me to this thread. Straight Talk was great for my wife, and I, until recently. On average I would get data speeds of 2-3 mbs down. Recently, my data connection has been hardly working, I just ran a speed test and my speeds were 0.06 mbs down and 0.37 mbs up. My wife has been having the same issue, I've contacted Straight Talk and they have been less than helpful.

    Here's my basic info.
    AT&T SIM
    Phones: International Galaxy Note (GT-N7000)
OS: Android 4.0.3 (Hers) 4.0.4 (Mine)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (I work in American Fork, UT)

I've tried my SIM in an unlocked Galaxy Nexus with the same speed results. I have not been able to try another SIM card. I currently have two APN's setup, one with the proxy, and another with the proxy field left blank, using either APN gives me the same result. On average I only use around 1 GB of data every month. I'm an extremely experienced Android user (I help out all the time on the Android Forums) and have always bought my phones unsubsidized and unlocked. (This is my 5th Android phone.) Any suggestions you may have, feel free, I'm open to trying basically anything.

Hmmm, if I were a drug dealer or pimp, I'd probably use a T&C similar to ST's... "Unlimited short term satisfaction, with no warranty or guarantee of your long term health."

I would get a T-MO Sims, but they suck in my location, I live in the outer Honolulu, you might say, in the boondocks, only AT&T seems to be the only provider that has a decent signal where I live. I've been with Sprint the last 2 years and their signal suck more. I get the same problems as most of you have, I just hit home screen and try again. It works most time. AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note and AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket running stock ICS 4.04. I'M HOPING THIS PASSES US SOON.

Make sure you're still getting slow download speeds and Call 18552222355 ST Byod Tech support . Tell them to reprovision and refresh your data. Make sure you tell them that you're throttled and need the restriction lifted. That's how you solve the slow data issue.

As for the no data issue sometimes if mine is out for an extended period I'll call them and they fix it typically. But I usually wait 20-30 mins to make sure it's something that won't alleviate itself.
