To be honest, I have absolutely no idea. I did find a thread discussing the screen issue ON XDA, so I assumed HAD there been a solution, it would've been posted in that thread. I last checked that thread earlier this year, so no clue if remedied.

Not an option. Especially for battery removal plates with delicate snap-in tabs. Multiple..DAILY battery swaps is only begging for a damaged one. Next thing you know-you're buying a new battery plate cover.

    Bandaid Solution.

You can't go far cause mobi won't have service there anyways.

Have my screen turned up all the way. Everything syncing and alerting me all the time. If my battery goes low I leave it plugged in next to my desk for awhile or charge it on my way home in the car.
LOL., please, there are people who have come to rely and expect a phone NOT to need to be nursed (suckled from a breast) throughout the day. It's obvious you have had ' no issues ' with battery. Your phone spends 75% of it's day plugged in.

The gaming comments about the phone?

    Get an iPhone for games....
I guess the push for quad core mobile processors was intended for making calls, browsing the internet and sending an email then huh? What was I thinking that they wanted to push mobile gaming on Android devices?

Welcome to Mobilicity! They don't care about your needs unless they don't have you as a customer. I don't see anything changing in the future with regards to sale prices on phones. If you're already a customer, get to the back of the line. On a positive note, Mobilicity dropped the price on the GN down to $299 which will inevitably reduce the value of it in the used resale market. You will start seeing these phones all over Craigslist in the coming weeks for less than $300. It's all good if you don't mind buying a slightly used model. Furthermore, while a $299 GN is a pretty good deal, it's not much lower than what the price should be considering the phone is almost a year old. Smartphone's lose almost half of their value in the first year, and realistically this phone shouldn't be priced any higher than $349-$399.

I'm already over the hype this sale brought on. I wasn't even interested in buying a GN since I ended up having quite a few issues with my Nexus One. I'm just gonna wait for the next new cool toy and buy it at full value from the internet when it hits the streets.

Just found this image on RFD http://oi49.tinypic.com/2mhvu5t.jpg

It looks like Mobilicity's official stance is that existing customers should be able to purchase the GN if they're enrolled in automatic monthly payments, but good luck getting one from a dealer anyway.

In a way this is a lose lose for mobilicity, new customers mostly will not tolerate the call drops and slow data, will switch asap. While existing customers which are patient enough to be with mobilicity for all this time will get more and more pissed of not getting on this deal.

It feels like the big 3 are paying wind and mobilicity to make hardware related mega blunders. First wind holding onto s3 and now this.

Well well well.. I called few stores.. all were out of stock.. except one..

Chartwell Shopping Centre 2301-2361 Brimley Road
    Scarborough
    M1S5B8
    (416) 546-1299

This is a mobilicity store and not any dealer or retailer.. so one will expect that they will follow the mobilicity policy.. BUT the lady who picked up the phone said they have stock but they won't sell it to existing customers because its their policy not to sell it to existing customers!!!! And when I said it says on Mobilicity's website that existing customers can buy it, so she said it doesn't matter what the website says.. its our policy not to sell!!!

WoW!! Even their own stores can't stick to the policy..!! And we wonder why mobilicity company is not growing! Their policy doesn't matter to anyone!!

Anyways.. please let me know if any of you find a kind enough store employee who will sell the phone to poor Mobilicity customer !!!

Essentially 100% of the stores are franchised. These are business people who are doing this for a living and not as a charity. If they sell to an existing customer, all they get is the margin on a phone with a heavily discounted price. If they sell to a new customer, they get that plus the commission for signing up a customer. If I were running the place, I would choose new customer over existing one 100% of the time.

The way I see it, unless Mobilicity deploys a retention department, existing subs will continued to be screwed. We need access to these hardware promotions via retention. Existing subs need to unite and take the complaint to stewart lyons' door step. Xtachx, perhaps you can weigh in and take the message to the corner office.

Since xtachx isn't with Mobi anymore, I'm not sure if he's as willing to sit through one of those again. I may be wrong, but he had more incentive because he was a customer for the past 2 meetings.

Also, I just called the Vancouver corporate location on W. Broadway. Apparently they're only selling it to existing customers IF you're willing to pay your next 3 months in advance (same treatment as new activations). I don't mind since I was planning to stick with them anyways, but that's a huge slap in the face...

But their tactics aren't. If mobilicity wasn't good at my home and work, I would have surely switch for the 60$ promos.
xtach, but you already know them. Plus when you go meet them, you can tell them, why even the most die hard loyalist had to switch.: yes yes:

Why, what's wrong with your nexus s, you can put jelly bean on it via xda. It's as good as this phone. If I were you, I would stick to nexus s till nexus four makes an entrance.
