I plugged in the usb cord into phone and pc. Pc not recognizing phone. Tried two other pcs same thing. I plugged in my optimus v and the pc recognized it right away. Is there any setting i can change on my triumph or is there any tricks i can try to force my pc to recognize my triumph. Thanks,

Do you get a notification on your phone that says a USB cable has been plugged in?

No. Got nothing. It will only charge my phone. No usb symble on phone or any pc notice. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
is your phone rooted?

I think it might be a defective USB port. A friend of mine had the same problem with the computer not detecting it and he sent Virgin Mobile an email and got a free replacement which does not have this issue.

Can you plug it into a desktop, from the back not the front (e.g. the powered ports)? Are you using the original USB cable? Can you plug it into a different place?
If you go into Control Panel > System > Hardware tab (on XP) > Device Manager, you should see all the devices that are visible but not properly installed... right-click and delete them. Then plug in the Triumph again.... or there should be a Scan for Hardware menu option.
Thanks for everyones help. Looks like I have a bad usb port. Oh well, at least I can still charge the phone.
