I recently received a Nexus 7 as a gift and I am looking to subliment it's lack of a 3G radio with a device that can create a hotspot. I'm looking at getting the $25 BTS plan and originally was planning on getting the Huawei E583C but then started thinking I should just get an Android device with hotspot.
I've narrowed it down to
Galaxy mini which is the same price as the Huawei E583C at $99 or the Galaxy Q which is $30 more at $129
Any reason why I should get the E583C over the Galaxy Mini?
And is there any difference between the Internet stick specific rate plans "unlimited data" compared to the $25 BTS "unlimited data"

Thanks for the opinion I'll try and get the galaxy mini in this case.
Bit of a rant but why doesn't Mobilicity have an online store to order from? I selected everything I wanted then it just gives an option to find a store and print what you want. Oh well, off to superstore I go. Hopefully there will actually be someone at their little kiosk for phones but I don't think I've ever seen an employee there.
It may be worthwhile paying a few extra dollars for the Q. It comes with ics. By the way, if you are running a Wi-Fi hotspot, be prepared to have your device cook.
