basically, but the motion has Ice cream sandwich, a 1700 battery, and 5 gbs of internal memory. more than what the connect has

This sounds like a good phone for my gf I hope the design looks good and hopefully the rumored qhd display wasn't false. What about release date any info on that?

The specs are great in everything but the screen size. My girlfriend is looking for a 4.5" screen similar to the Esteem but I told her to pass on the Lightray since it's too expensive.

Hopefully the ZTE phone measures up better in screen size and specs because otherwise she might just have to wait for the Galaxy S3.

Only HVGA? Well on the flipside this probably means that the processor really won't get taxed all that much, which should be good for the battery life. And if it is a S4 processor then this can potentially have some great battery life for an LTE phone.

Is it a regular TFT or IPS screen? Right now I like what I'm seeing either way. Just going to wait to see what ZTE has in store.

It was bad enough for me to downsize from the Esteems 4.3" to the Connects 4" but i got used to it. Downsizing to 3.5" is going way too small. I'll be sitting this one out for sure.
