I think its people who have no contract. Jet proudly proclaims he doesn't have a contract. I wasn't invited, I think its because some of my lines still have contracts.

Of all the choices, the best is $100 back. But I am not sure about the selection and duration. The terms I saw are:

    - Once confirmed below, your reward choice will be final; you will not be able to select a different reward later.
    - You must use your phone on an eligible T-Mobile® account to qualify for this rebate.
    - Your active postpaid account needs to be up to date with payments at the time we process your rebate request.
    - Your rebate card will be up to $100, but will never equal more than what you paid for the phone (after all other applicable rebates and discounts have been applied).

Does anyone know what the selections look like? Is it the same as the way my-tmobile upgrade works? I am on a grandfathered plan with T-zones, under no circumstances would I be willing to change my voice or data plan. Also, I know I don't qualify for any mail-in rebate.

Also, my 2-years contract is ending next spring. I wonder if I can wait until then?

I've seen a few customer who are still in their contract at least 18 months, and still have the offer.

I'm not sure if I'm following you, are you asking about the phone selection? You can choose any phone you like. If the phone costs less then 100.00 you won't get the full 100.00 MiR.

I suspect that profitability more than longevity influences who gets this offer. For instance if you are on a grandfathered cheaper plan, and getting some sort of corporate discount you are unlikely to receive this offer as T-Mobile would rather use other tools to try to move you to a higher ARPU level. Basically if you are a "cheap *******" like myself, it's not likely you will not see this offer

Who knows, jet is on a super grandfathered "T-zones talk N' Text " plan left over from the voicestream days, he got the deal. Its a $30 plan for 300 minutes, texts and unlimited t-zones data, a really good plan with low ARPU for t-mobile. He hasn't confirmed either way if he has a corporate discount, but I would guess he does.

I am in the middle of a contract, I will hit the 18 month mark next year. I think they do it based on contract, and how much complaining you have done.

Thanks. Do you know if I need to select a phone right a way? If not, when would the offer expire?
