    Wind Tab Q

    Hey guys

So if I transfer to wind onto their 29 or 40 plan and dont get a tab right now, if later on (say the next Nexus comes out), can I get a tab then?
Or does Wind prefer to give tabs on new phones on new customers?

    Cheers

Yes you can do a tab later. But if its like the S3 launch you may not be able to get it right away.

$40 plan has a $400 tab, $35 (not advertised) $29 and $25 plans have a $200 tab. You can use the tab any time, once per line.

$40 has up to $500 tab actually.

Any plan under $40 has a $200 tab.

O you're right. I see now the BB Torch is $0 on tab or $479 outright. I didn't notice before because no 'in demand' handsets have a full tab.

At least WIND is smart about their subsidies, a lesser amount a lesser amount of times.

    another question

is there any place where I can find all the limits of Wind Mobile plans?
ie when you text 33333 for bus stop times, apparently wind charges you (whereas a lot of other companies doesnt)
I would like to know what other 'charges' and similar nit picks there are

The TOS is a good place to start. Expect to be nickeled and dimed everywhere, and you will be safe.

They charge for that? I don't think any company charges for that as long as you have a texting plan

Really only the $200 tab is remotely a good deal. That's why Koodo maxed it out at $150. If you're paying off only 10% of the monthly bill per month on the tab, it'll take ~8 years to pay off a $500 tab. Sure they'll forgive it after 3 years, but as is, it's actually a way worse deal than Rogers.
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband. The reason Wind and Mobilicity users like pentaband phones is because the reverse is true. We're not the only ones who like pentaband phones though, so please stop referring to phones that work on Wind and Mobilicity as pentaband. It causes unnecessary cofusion.

The Robellus have the best deals for everyone, you get a free phone for just merely $30 extra a month, what a deal?
