I'm curious for some speed tests from Galaxy S3, Galaxy Nexus, and other HSPA 21 capable devices in the Edmonton home network.
I have the S3 and the data speeds showed up as H+ but the speeds are intensely slower compared to just H. I don't understand so I'm trying to diagnose the problem and see if I'm the only one and it's my device or if the network is in the midst of an update.

Wind Mobile's data speeds in edmonton have tanked over the past 4 weeks or just before the launch of the Galaxy S3. Why, I have no idea but they are considerably lower. In other words, its not you or your phone.
Thank you to both of you!
Do you guys think that data speeds will improve again?

I have a Galaxy S2 X and my wife has a S3. Her speeds are just as bad as mine are now. The real funny thing is that I the weeks leading up to the launch of the S3 I was getting record up and down speeds. I seriously hope Wind is aware of this issue.

They must have done some network upgrades and then a good chunk of 'dem new GS3 owners live near you!
Bad Luck! :P
Nevermind Bell.. LTE is fine.
Because GS3 owners are new subscribers (mostly), and therefore you have more people using the network very close to you. More people on network = slower speeds for everyone.
That said, I don't think this is a capacity issue, I think it's an upgrade issue that will be fixed - see the other thread on this topic.
It could be the BTS season and not GS3. In that case, these speeds will go on for a long time

What's the BTS season?
I supposed bit COULD be capacity but these speeds didn't tank slowly after a few days or even a week, they tanked in under a day when the network changed from HSPA:11 to HSPAP:15.
And it all happened within a few days...
I think simply with the fact that tech support hasn't gotten back to me yet says alot about what they do and don't know so they might not even understand.
Is everyone here pulling down HSPAP : 15 or are any of you getting these bad speeds with HSPA : 11?
Basically is it only the network upgrade side of things that is slow or is it all parts of their data network.
I might just have to root my device and flash a new baseband to limit my phone to HSPA : 11 hahahah

I've never noticed getting HSPAP: 15, my phone is always on 11, and it gets the abysmal speeds.
Tested on friends phone. HSPA11. Down 800 Kbps and up 65kbps.
