I am thinking of switching my iphone 4s from at&t to straight talk. Seeing as how the 4s is hspa+ compatable, will I be able to use 4g h+ on straight talk? The salesman said no, but some reviews say they use hspa+ on other phones with straight talk. I also have someone who wants to switch thier iphone 4s from sprint to straight talk. The fone has a sim slot but ive been told its immposible to use it on a sim within the US. Is this true? And if it can be used on straight talk can it get 4g hspa+? Thanks for all the cooments!

First question, yes, you will get HSPA+. St gets same service on 3G and 3.5G. straighttalk does not get LTE in markets wher is is available, which isn't an issue for iPhone since it's not LTE anyway.
Second question, it is possible using a Gevey sim, but you are dependent on the manufacturer to update or may even have to buy a new one each time there is an iOS update. Do a search on gevey, and you'll find more information. Some people have good success, some are so frustrated by it that they sell their sprint or Verizon phone and buy an AT&T one so they don't have to deal with it anymore. And yes, you should get the same speeds on that phone that you do on the AT&T phone.
