Not sure if I should post this here or start a new thread but it looks like wind is starting to upgrade the towers in vancouver! Last night I noticed that I was getting an H+ on my phone and I have never had that before. My speed test from last night and this morning were fantastic! So last night at 6:30 I got 6.72 down and .96 up, this morning at 6:30 I got 10.27 down and 1.27 up. This was on my S3 around the olympic village. Keep it up wind!

This is a good thing, however here in North Delta I would be happy to get more than 1 or 2 bars of signal outdoors!! ( .450 down and .089up). Maybe they can install the old removed equipment from your area out this way.

..and yes.....I have used Wind's network builder feedback multiple times with no results....yet??

I just signed up and am very surprised that I even get service at all when at home as I live in an older 1960ish below-ground level basement suite in an area that is said to get 2-3 bars out of 4 on the coverage mapper(54th and Elliott St, Vancouver). It is entirely phone dependent as my reception with a Galaxy Nexus would drop in and out while with the Nokia Lumia 710 my calls would never drop but would sound muffled while at 0-1 bars which is the best I can get when inside. Of course outside, I get my 3 bars and call quality is solid. Can't really complain given the price.

Yeah, the Lumia 710 is damn good on hanging onto whatever little signal there is.
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband. The reason Wind and Mobilicity users like pentaband phones is because the reverse is true. We're not the only ones who like pentaband phones though, so please stop referring to phones that work on Wind and Mobilicity as pentaband. It causes unnecessary cofusion.
