Where's the dialtone?
I have a Pantech Breakout (model number ADR8995) I recently bought it from a friend to use with a verizon prepaid plan! However I am not happy with Verizon! I was told I could unlock the phone and use it on At&t or Tmobile! Then I was told i couldn't! I will be honest I am not very smart when it come to technology! I love this phone and would love to use it with a different carrier! Can I? Is there anything I should know about unlocking a phone and I have seen a few post regarding unlocking a phone...that not all of the features will work on it if you do unlock it! Oh and one more question....Is a rooted or un rooted phone the same thing as a locked or unlocked phone? I will appreicate any and ALL help....however please keep your comments "easy" for me to understand! I am learning or at least trying to! Thank you all so much!
