Why would VZW provide good deals to prepaid subscribers for access to LTE Data with MiFi and Tablets but not prepaid 4G LTE smart-phones???Baby steps.
It's gotten 'better' recently because VZ just reported not long ago that over 50% of their mobile traffic was over 4G/LTE now. So they've got this long-since paid for network (3G EVDO) just sitting waiting to be milked for all it is worth until they decommission it...

Because Vmobi, I'm guessing that the tablet is pretty much for data only. Even smartphones get used for talk/text now and again. Plus the bulk of their biz in wireless is in contract phones, not tablets.

Well, for starters, VZW doesn't provide any "good deals" for LTE on MiFi (Postpaid, let alone Prepaid!). Unless your idea of almost $100 for a lousy 10GB is a "Good Deal"
On the tablet data I would imagine Apple forced their hand with iPad to get them, Verizon never would have went along with it otherwise. And they've just followed through with other tablets.
This will be a pretty quiet thread as Verizon's "deals" are, well, not deals at all.

Radio Shack is discounting several Verizon phones.
The Caper is 40, Intensity III is 70.
Anybody have any first hand knowledge of the Caper? I know it is primarily for text & talk but does it have at least basic "Tracfone" web with news headlines and such?
