I have the HTC MyTouch 4G since it's T-mobile it'll work out of the box. I got mine rooted on eBay for $170 but that was a while ago. The prices must have gone down by now.

Hi,
I'm looking to switch to SM from H20 Wireless since I've had so many problems with dropped calls on the AT&T network. I was wondering if any kind folks could give me some recommendations on a phone to use with SM? Here are some general requirements...
1) Must be a touchscreen
2) Must have a camera
3) Inexpensive as in less than $150
4) Will work with SM straight out of the box
I'm not too concerned about browsing speeds as I'll only be using the data to perhaps check yahoo email and maybe surf no more than 10 minutes per day. For instance, I saw a few HTC MyTouch 3g phones on sale at amazon and eBay for only $124 and a new Samsung Behold for only $100. Any help would be appreciated!

The Nokia Lumia 710 is a great phone. As a pentaband phone it works with all North American GSM carriers. Tmobile is rapidly refarming their HSPA data from 1700 to 1900 to free up the 1700 band for LTE and enable ATT phones (iPhone) to work on their Network. After the refarm most current Tmobile phones won't get 4g data but the 710 will
Thanks both of you for the advice! Can you guys tell me how the battery life is for either phone? I really would like a phone that can last the whole day without recharging assuming I don't have a lot of apps running and will only browse the web on average of 5 minutes per day. TIA.
Mine lasts the whole day! I bought a new battery but it still doesnt perform too well
