As far as I understand, in digital world, a 5 bar signal will not provide better call quality over a 2 bar signal. If Cel-Fi lets kitwatuser an usable signal at his basement, its mission is accomplished.

Also Cel-Fi fooled kitwatuser’s phone to get 5 bar from an actually 2 bar signal, it prolonged the phone’s battery life. So, what is the argument here?

The argument seems to be that kitwatuser wouldn't believe what you just stated as being true.

There was never really any argument, he just seemed to think we were calling him a liar and possibly claiming beyond the fact that because his phone showed 5 bars (because of celFi) that he was getting 5 from WIND, which wasn't true. It's been repeated so many times and it appears everyone else has got it. Why do you ask?

I concede that probably no one would be better than you at disparaging remarks.
I bow to your superiority, realizing that I could not possibly match you in this regard, no matter how hard I might try.

I will not make further posts in this thread.

    Peace!

I hardly have to deal with any CS. No Tab and prepaid $30 unlimited plan (switched from Oh Can plan). I do not use their auto pay at all. Instead I just set scheduled payment via pres choice. Wind cannot even screw up my visa payment even if they want to.
I am ultra OK with the arrangement and zero need to change anything.
I work in Whitby and live in T O. Chatting and driving through Pickering (long D from Whitby) is no longer a pain money wise.
I can see that there are a lot of people living in Burlington/Hamilton..and work in TO or Miss. They must be happy wind user too (for simple case like me with no tab and prepaid). This home zone thing is a huge marketing killer.

but you are a happy camper because you are a prepaid csx ... the majority now aren't prepaid and thus they are having issues (when it comes to billing) and also the issues aren't about being prepaid or postpaid csx ... the issue is with WIND as a company!

Well, there are some things you'll never know or understand.

In the meantime: Thank you for your "expert" explanation!

Incidentally: Please answer me: What (real or perceived) benefit do you receive from trying to disprove or berate something that works?
Same anology here is were you have a weak radio station - some receivers do an exceptional job at getting the signal cleaned up and others just can't.

Celfi is that exceptional receiver. Now the question to ask is: is the radio signal strong in that area because you are hearing the radio clearly?

That is what TZ is trying to tell you.

The home zone saving is a huge deal for those who travel a lot (within zone) in their daily commuting.

I may be lucky because my choice is simple. A lot of complaint must be been involved with tab and porting out.
Will the CS of Rogers/Bill be able to handle in better manner? I do not know and I would not want to prejudge.
I suggest every one to stay away from tab which is essentially a instalment payment plan of your phone. If you need finance of your phone, paying interest of a credit line is far better solution as you can get a better deal on the phone. That gives you a lot more option and flexibility.
I am not defending Windmobile CS. I would say it is no better and no worse than that of Bell/Rogers/Telus.
I believe the CS of Windmobile and Bell/Rogers/telus are paid more the less the same lousy wages - correct me if I am wrong.

People love to complain and voice their opinion loudly, most people do not bother writing good things unfortunately.
On occasion i have written my positive experiences on here and also my bad experiences, but as some posted already ALL mobility co's that i know of in Canada pretty much suck in that department.

    That's exactly it.

It's almost always the customers who complain that voice their opinions (to which I don't have a problem with), while in contrast ones who voice their praises are rarely seen.

    +1

I've said it before - People only call customer service or post on forums to complain. You wouldnt call CS to praise their service.

For every dissatisfied customer, there are many more that are satisfied (the same goes for ANY company).
