LG Optimus Black 1700 Network Chip

I dont know why but i love this phone so much, it has the perfect specs and everything. All i need is for it to work on mobilicity or wind. I've seen other threads about how there is no version found that supports it. I want to know if there is a store that can put the 1700/2100 chip(s) into the phone. I'm willing to pay upto $80. Do such stores exist and is it even possible to do that? Plz let me know. By the way I live in Toronto.

If you copy and paste all of that to your address bar in your web browser it will bring you to a page that has every phone that should work on wind. Apparently the LG Optimus Black should work on Wind.

Beware, that list says the i9100 (International Galaxy SII) supports WIND frequencies.
    Nope.

If you've looked everywhere and it's not possible, you're most likely going to have to upgrade/ downgrade.
    Nevermind Bell.. LTE is fine.

The Optimus 2X sucks - don't ever consider buying that device.

    The amount of horror stories...*cringe*

Anywho, why not look into a different manufacturer?

Sony's Recent Xperia ION is a pentaband 3G - compatible with WIND
HTC One S from Any Canadian Carrier (and T-Mo) - Compatible with WIND
Huawei Ascend P1 from WIND - Nice upgrade, cheap price

Really? O.O I've seen reviews and other people saying the 2X is a great and fast device for its price. I was actually just considering buying one. Can you tell me what the cons are(for you). And also I'm on a budget of $200.

Actually the list is accurate. If you click the phone link you will find that they have the Telus model listed.

NO! the Optimus Black does not have the 1700 AWS band and i know since i fell in love with the phone bought it off eBay and sold it since it didn't work. Unfortunately Gsmarena does make mistakes.
For $200- the Nexus S can't be beat!
