I have posted this in other places but never got an answer.
So decided to start my own thread in hopes someone can steer me in the right direction...
Info on phone (if it is needed):
ATT iPhone 4 on 5.1.1 BB04.12.01
Jailbroke using redsn0w 9.12b2 and running Rocky Racoon
Nokia sim
Everything on the phone is working but MMS.
I had purchased TetherMe earlier this year. Am now switching phones, jailbroke it but can no longer find TetherMe to install. When I went to "Changes" and it updated, it took me to a thing called "pcre" but I don't see anywhere were you can change the apn.
Anyone know what happened to TetherMe?
Any other alternative?
I understand that there is no need to unlock or jailbreak now for most. I am using the Nokia back-door method still. I would like to have my MMS texting back.
I still can't find TetherMe. I purchased TetherMe earlier this year and would like to not have to pay again.
Anyone know if the name has been changed or if there is another route?
Also wanted to add:
Seen a post from thehofoguy on another thread and his comment "Yes. Can that approach entirely. Open Cydia, go under Manage, Edit, Add, type in apt.xsellize.com, click Add Source. Go into that source, select TetherMe, and install. Now you have Cellular Data Network under Settings>General>Network. Enter the correct MMS APN settings as outlined on this site, and/or as found at other places on the web including unlockit.co.nz. MMS works. Enjoy."
Tried this route multiple times and it's saying every-time "POSIX: Connection Refused."

Get TetherMe from xsillize repo for free. The reason why you are getting an error is because you are using outdated repo.
You can also use APN edit is cydia instead of TetherMe.
Another method is using unlockit.co.nz and installing a profile.
