Hi,
I just got a Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket (LTE) and I want to use it on my GoPhone account. I realize this is a premium phone on a budget plan, but the plan fits the way I use my phone and I really like the capabilities of the Galaxy S II.
Anyway, the phone makes and receives calls just fine, SMS works and so does WiFi. However, when I add a data package to my GoPhone account, the phone doesn't see the AT&T network. I called AT&T support, but after wandering me around in the menus on the phone for 15 minutes, they finally decided that since the phone is LTE, GoPhone doesn't support data on it. I don't understand why the phone doesn't simply switch to 3G, it's capable of that mode (HSDPA 850/1900/2100).
Has anyone gotten an LTE Skyrocket to work with GoPhone data packages? If so, how did you do it?
Does anyone know a way to disable LTE in the AT&T version of the Skyrocket ROM? In their infinite wisdom, AT&T has suppressed the Network Mode menu, preventing me from setting the preferred mode to something other than LTE. FYI, this is Android ICS 4.0.4
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tenaya

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ngelow.network also this is a link of a app I use on my ATRIX 2 to access those settings for network type because it is the only way I can ( use at your own risk obviously ). The *#*#4636#*#* doesn't work on it.
