Can someone tell me if there are any Telus branding on the device itself or just the Telus logo showing up when booting up the device? I'm on Rogers and I really want to buy this, unlock it, and use it with Rogers. I don't want to buy the Rogers version just because of the branding on the exterior of the device. I'm planning to buy it off contract regardless of the carrier anyways since I don't want to sign another contract just for this device.

Telus phones typically also have no carrier branding on them; I'd imagine this is the same.
^On a related matter, I got a question to ask you; can you clear your PM box.
Sgt_Strider,
You understand this Sierra Wireless AC763S mobile hotspot does not support UMTS/HSPA+ in the AWS band but just for the LTE? If you intend to use it with T-Mobile in the US, it will not work in those markets where PCS spectrum not reframing for UMTS/HSPA+ i.e. UMTS Band II (1900).

Just want add things ... i have discovered tonight ...
Have used a rogers 763s ... NO DC HSPA ... you can't get 42 mbits in the area you can get dc hspa ... today ... i have buy a bell 763s ... and discover same thing ...
Only the telus have the dc hspa !
and you can't install the telus firmware on it !
cedqc418,
NOT the case with my experience: an unlocked AC763S loaded with the Bell firmware and a TELUS UICC...
As you can see below, I have got DC-HSPA+ in the UMTS Band II (1900) on TELUS...

Very strange i am in area where dc hspa is available ... just make 5 km - 10 km and i get the dc hspa signal ...
Come at home after and get the dc working ...
Big thanks ! HC - NO "i"
cedqc418,
You are welcome.
To me, DC-HSPA+ sounds good on paper but often performs poorly with relatively high latency. When there is reliable LTE coverage, it will become irrelevant!![]()
