Page Plus Cellular Coverage at DisneyLand

    Hi all,

We will be traveling to Disneyland at the end of Oct. I am wondering what Page Plus Cellular's coverage is like for both phone/text and 3G. I know I can look at the coverage map and see that it's covered...but I would like some responses from those who have been there with their page plus phones. Mostly interested in data. I'll be using a Droid 2 with the $55.00 monthly plan.

I've heard when it gets busy...many of the carriers melt down. But end of OCT shouldn't be too busy.

    Thanks for your assistance.

Page Plus uses the Verizon 3G network, so 3G coverage is the same except that roaming costs extra. The coverage map shows that the area has native coverage for both voice and data. This means that you can ask Verizon customers too, and that's a much larger group of people.

Just did a trip to Disneyland in February. No problems with native coverage anywhere in Anaheim. You should be good to go.

Oh yeah, you will be fine.

Same goes with any major city in the US especially tourist places, usually covered pretty well by the major carriers.
    Home ISP, RR-Ultimate WiFi, $90/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited

    School, $5,000/semester | Work

You should be fine....I've had good signal at both Disneyland and Disneyworld. The only issue you might see is that you will lose signal inside some buildings. For example I had no signal in Space Mountain....but you are really far inside building at that point.
    this is so much fun

I'm actually surprised VZW has neglected the area, as even Sprint and AT&T have 3G there. My friends with VZW all have issues getting data, as it's stuck on 1X roaming on Mohave Wireless, and were using my Sprint hotspot for data most of the time (not like we were actually at the hotel for long periods of time though)

and to the OP, you shouldn't have any issues pretty much anywhere in CA with VZW, they're pretty solid unless you go way north in cali.

Thats why I added the words "usually covered pretty well"

The United states is like 3.8 million square miles (~ 3 million square miles of actual land). That's a lot of turf to cover. There will be some bad spots.
