It is already available and it's only $14.99!!!

This seems like a perfect phone for VM/PayLo to offer as a Free Device with minimum purchase of a $20 Top-Up Card.

If you purchase one, can you please post a review...
PREPAID means I have all the power.
They want me, but they can't have me...

    Virgin Mobile: $35 / $1 | AT&T PREPAID: .25/Min

I don't have one, but here's my review so far: no bluetooth, no camera, and itty bitty screen. They need to make a basic, no-frills phone like this but with a bigger screen with larger UI elements.

I agree with you, Sprint should add a better flip phone to PayLo, but it would probably cost more than $14.99.

No bluetooth no deal. Even the Mantra ($10) and U350 on Verizon ($4 @ Sears.com) have bluetooth!

Works great for those long calls!

Good (I mean real good) flip phones are getting harder and harder to find.

The Samsung Convoy 2 is pretty good with a 3.2 MP camera and can be used on Page Plus who has comparable plans to PayLo.

On the GSM side the Samsung Rugby 2 or Motorola Tundra are OK.

I do like the Mantra but unfortunately its EOL.

    Mantra is the best...

That's why I purchased 2 Mantras at $10 each from KMart before they were gone....
They're sitting on my shelf in their packages.........

The keypad looks just like the excellent one on the Mantra.
I still use and love my purple Mantra.
If this device is basically a Mantra without the bluetooth and crappy camera,
then it might be a good bet for folks who don't need those things.
    The price is certainly right!

That is a new market for flip phones, but there is an existing market that wants a device for just making and receiving calls... They still refer to these devices as Cell Phones.

I just helped an AW subscriber "upgrade ?" to the Samsung Entro from a Kyocera S2100 that had met an unfortunate end (actually it met a brick wall). He seems to like the Entro much more than both of his previous devices (Mantra & S2100). He indicates that it has better voice quality than the S2100 and has more "real usable features". The Voice Recognition and speakerphone quality are just two of the things he is impressed with. The Samsung Entro also feels sturdier and not quite as cheap compared to both the S2100 and Mantra.

For $14.99 this might be worth looking into. Who knows, with new Tablet prices now starting @ $199 for a Nexus 7, VM PayLo's Samsung Entro may soon be a Best Selling Phone with the Ultra Affordable $40 Unlimited Talk & Text service added on as a bonus.

Thanks mathfaster. That T-Mobile t159 they are talking about there sure looks similar to the Entro.

CNET's review of the Entro is now posted:
    http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/...-35409767.html

Note that in the video, she refers to the screen size as 1.7" which is clearly incorrect. The specs on the CNET review page states 2.6" which seems about right.

    ....

So simple it doesn't have a camera, Virgin Mobile's no-contract flip phone costs just $15 and makes calls well.
