I am trying to use a SIP app over wifi.
It works at home but it doesn't register on any of the free wifi I have tried and it doesn't register when I try the mobile network.

Wifi is not telus ... Many free wifi have port blocked like macdonald
Telus don t block port but don t forward port traffic

I've successfully used SIP to make calls over Koodo/Telus 3g. I'd check the detailed logs for your sip client to see what the issue is.
