    total DroidX2 breakdown - HELP !!

My Droidx2 is not working anymore.
in the past few weeks the screen was frozen daily and I would remove the battery to restart it but Saturday it went totally down.
It will turn on with a car charger only to the point of the red Motorola circle and it will stay there only if plugged in the CAR charger... even with the battery removed that part of the screen shows up.
Plugged into the WALL charger, it flashes a strange message:

    Bootloader
    30.4

    Battery low
    Cannot Program

Verizon Store told me all I can add a 5. line and buy a phone for 100 bucks because I am out of warranty....do I want to spend more money monthly with an additional line and buy a 100 buck phone that might be crappy ? No, I really just want my phone to work again... store also said when checking my battery it came back fine...
Please, anyone.... is there a way to get my phone to work again ? ANYTHING >>??? I am loosing my mind....

If the phone says the battery is low but the battery tests fine, then the problem is either the phone itself or the connection between them. I'd try cleaning the connections on both the battery and phone (rub them with a q-tip, maybe use a little rubbing alcohol, definitely not ammonia). Also, look up "factory reset" for your phone and try doing that if you can. That's all I can think of. Good luck.

To be honest with you, maybe your phone is really giving up the ghost and its time to get a new replacement. I won't mind spending the 100 bucks for a new phone that can serve you one or two more years.

If the phone is really dead, I think I'd will be much cheaper picking up a used one on your own from i.e. cowboom. Plenty of phones for $100 or so...
