how's coverage in western PA (pittsburgh)?

i might be moving there and could possibly be changing carriers to verizon, but im curious how verizon works in the city of pittsburgh and surrounding areas (monroeville,etc)

Verizon works just fine in Pittsburgh. Kid goes to U Pitt and never have a problem hearing when she calls for money. Seriously I checked it out on my many trips there and coverage is excellent.

So when the kid calls asking for money, I guess you can't get away with the "bad connection, I can't hear you" excuse.

It works pretty well. There are always a few dead spots, but unless you are in a concrete building, you should be good.
