Switching between PYW and monthly plan?

I am currently on PYW, I have like 3 PYW accounts now in my family and most likely can't use up all the credit over time. Just wondering if I accumulate a large amount of credit that I can not use before service life end on PYW account can I switch to a monthly plan and keep my credit and phone number and use them up?

For sure you can switch from PYW to PayBefore and keep your credit. I've done it before. You can do it over the phone. Some of those bonus credits (like the current 50% bonus) is probably not transferable.

Going to PayAfter is going to be a problem until you use up your credits. Since you have 3 lines you could probably transfer all your credits to one line and keep that one as Pay Before, then switch the other two to PayAfter.

Better Together Savings applies across mix-match PayBefore and PayAfter lines on the same account.

Does WIND really have "Accounts" like say Bell now?
Because something like that seems complicated to the point where back office would be the only one able to do so.
    Nevermind Bell.. LTE is fine.

Everything I wrote is from experience. So yes they have accounts with multiple lines and you can mix and match PayBefore lines with PayAfter lines BetterTogether. Does not require any back office hoops.

And I'm guessing if you wanted to get on the current $29 plan you'd need to pay that change fee...

Actually, no. Switching from PYW to any monthly does not require a change fee.

That's pretty jokes (on the agent being incompetent). Definitely a misinformed agent.

Their policy says the charge is applicable of you are downgrading. Moving from pyw to monthly is clearly a move upwards.

Maybe you need to call again. I've moved plans from PYW to promo plan without paying any fees just last month. You are basically doing a PYW to PayBefore. That kind of a move does not need a change fee or new SIM or lost of credits, and can be done over the phone.

Thanks. When I did call to change on Thursday, they did not charge me a change fee.

Of course if I called on Friday instead of Thursday, I would have gotten the $200 credit thingy :-(

^The answer is Yes. Dial *123# and follow the instructions, not only can you not transfer between prepaid accounts, so can transfer money to almost all Prepaid Phones around the World from a Wind Prepaid Account. 'How Cool is that' Excluding Canadian Prepaid Providers Accounts.
