I think the Galaxy SII Skyrocket will be receiving Jelly Bean update in the future. The news reveal that the Samsung Galaxy S II variants will get Android 4.1 as a final update. Even though the Galaxy S II devices are technically a previous gen device, they have the specs to run Jelly Bean. But it will be a very long wait for you Galaxy S II users, as Samsung's focus is on its current-gen device as of now. It seems that the Galaxy S II will receive an update sometime in the fourth quarter.
