Native metroPCS coverage is in certain cities only, not truly "nationwide". Sprint, Verizon and USCellular fill in the gaps nationally, where native metroPCS is not available, but on the CDMA side, there is no data on Verizon.
T-Mobile since July 2005.
well i do know they fill in the gaps what i was curious to know was if they will ever get thier own towers where verizon and sprint fill in for them now . if they do buy spectrum wouldnt that mean they would have coverage in those areas

I would have to say no, because a number of months back, I read an article where one of their executives was quoted as saying metroPCS had no desire to be a nationwide carrier and they were happy providing service in metropolitan areas.

I had heard that in the past about metro happy being a metropolitan carrier but I recently heard something about them wanting to buy spectrum if they did I thought wouldn't that mean they would go nationwide
So in conclusion they will never go nationwide or even own there own towers like the other four major carriers

They have their own towers in the home markets but outside of there is all about roaming agreements
They DO own their own towers in 14 major markets. It actually makes them the 5th largest facilities based carrier, behind #4 T-Mobile.
But they do not have their own nationwide network, and currently they have no LTE roaming agreement.
Their Sprint roaming agreement was only for 1x data, unless that's changed recently.
They had a chance to bid on nationwide spectrum last year and never uttered a peep.

Your creed may be interesting, but your deeds are much more convincing.
Well if what you say is true I was just curious it would be better if they had 4g nationwide
