Samsung infuse How do I edit ringtones.

Ok I'm trying to add some music on my gf phone to her ringtones. I see under settings sounds where it says change your default ringtone. How do I add and delete from that list. She has music on there but when I hit the menu button it doesn't give option to set as ringtone. I can go into her files then to ringtones these files are on her sd card but when I just go to settings and sounds to change ringtone none of these are listed. I know it's cause its only giving me option with the phone memory and not the sd memory. I need to know how to get all those songs to the option to saving and making them a ringtone? It gives me the option on my HTC but not on her infuse.

I found with my S3 I had to copy the songs directly into an existing ringtone file to be able to use them as tones.
