Try going into the settings menu, select accessibility and uncheck "large fonts". Hope that solves the problem for you.

I made the dialer font much bigger one day, and now I'm regretting it. Forgot how I did it, anyone?
Thanks

If I'm annoyed and you're annoyed, does that make us a paranoid ??

I am using ICS on my Droid, probably has to do with a specific setting in your Samsung. Maybe someone will know how to fix.

Hopefully you can find a solution there.
I think I figured it out! When I made them big, the phone hadn't gotten ICS yet. Samsung may have forgotten to put it back in!
Settings -> Display -> Font Size -> Select "Tiny"
I think com.android.providers.settings has this in settings.db under system, font_scale. At least it's there on my GNex. If you're rooted you can change that.

Thanks cmstlist for this tips !
On my GNex which is set to regular font size, font_scale is 1.0. On my MediaPad which is set to a larger size, it's at 1.3.
