Can anyone tell me what the best reception phone is on the ATT network? I am in a lower signal area.

Probably Motorola or Nokia. Those two brands are well known for their signal reception.
What phone do you currently use?
Verizon 4G LTE

AT&T 4G LTE

It maybe just the Infuse 4G and Note because my Galaxy III works pretty good in low singal conditions. Much more better than the HTC Inspire which would frequently drop H+ or wouldnt start a audio stream under the same poor conditions.Originally Posted by obi_d21
I can actually actually stream or broswe at work on my smartphone ever since i switched over to the Galaxy.
I had a Atrix 2 that I just sold it would hold on to a signal better than my Inspire and any basic phone I've used. I live in a rural heavily wooded area and indoors signal could be troublesome. Even if it did drop it would instantly connect back. I sold it due to data issues with net10 and ported to t-mobile even though it's only edge here but at least I have good signal and wifi. But that phone was the best in the signal department.

HTC is hit and miss and I have not been impressed with them.....I think the Surround was ok at reception but the Nexus One was not.
The iphone 4 with a case does quite well. The old 3GS was ok too but the software was really slow at "Searching...." and highly annoying.
My Motorola Atrix 2 does quite well, i have been happy with it.
I am using an Samsung Galaxy S3. Seems like it is all over. But very low.

I have admit that HTC has made good products, which was the reason i stuck with them for awhile but the poor performance in low signal areas bothered me. While my exprience with Nokia and Motorola has been very positive under the same conditions i am hesitent to give them a try seeing that they only made a comeback with their recent smartphone lineup.Originally Posted by zephxiii
So far i trust RIM BBs to work under marginal conditions. Except the Storm 9530.

Nokia 2610. My other Nokia (E71) and current iPhone 4S were both excellent, but none could touch the 2610. You probably don't actually want a 2610 though, as it can barely text, and internet- whats that?
Get a repeater or M-Cell at your house.
I usually support government regulation, but It is unfortunate that the government over-regulated and killed the AT&T/ T-Mobile Merger
The best explanation of the pricing nutiness in the industry.
Why Sprint and T-Mo will always suck.
The only way to end the pricing insanity is to eliminate contracts and subsidies.
I want Wifi calling on AT&T.
If you text while driving, you're an idiot. End of story.
get a repeaterull use it forever!
Motorola Tundra is a great phone for reception if you don't mind a flip phone. I also have an Atrix 2 and as far as a smartphone goes the reception is very good.
I've had good luck with the Nokia Lumia. Other than that if you can find KRZR for 2G if you still have it in your area (AT&T network teams loved this phone) or a Tundra for 3G.
Once you start looking at smart phones you start getting into issues of the phone doing so much that it just does everything ok instead of great.
I remember my Samsung Sync did great but i doubt you could even get a charger to fit that one anymore.
as for the new models I don't see much difference in them anymore. I've heard of great luck on the HTC One X and the Motorola Atrix HD.
iPhones eh, great for internet and apps talking can be an issue depending if you are a 1900 mkt or an 850 mkt
Which has better reception Sam infuse or HTC inspire?
