I am a musician and I have a Samsung Charge. I would like to record some performances. It takes great video but when recording video there is no way (that I know of) to adjust the microphone input level. The audio is so overdriven it is unlistenable when recording live music. The only solution I have read about is the suggestion to place a piece of tape over the microphone(s). Really? That is the best solution anyone could come up with? Why don't I just go out and buy a $19.99 Radio Shack handheld cassette recorder? While I am at it I could hire some Neanderthal to paint images on a cave wall. There has to be some kind of internal setting or a third party app to control the volume input. I am looking for any suggestions. All responses are greatly appreciated.
