mass texts from pc to cell phones?

I'm probably not in the right forum here but if not can someone point me in the right direction, my sons daycare has been searching for a way to send bulk text messages to all the parent in case or emergencies from their work computers, can someone suggest a program that will allow you to do this?

One would most likely have to use an outside message aggregator as is used by government and safety officials to send alerts. Here is one example: http://www.simplifiedalerts.com/schoolalerts/index.html

To send message directly from a computer you would need to know the carrier associated with each telephone number so that you could send the message to the correct SMS gateway. With a message aggregator, they route the messages appropriately.
