    Hi

Is there anyway to unlock this phone to use on GSM carrier ?

It has a SIm slot and this is a SCH-R530U samsung Galaxy s3 phone ?

Or is there anyway to verify if i can activate the phone ?

Sell it on eBay, get a phone you want. It's a recent phone, so you should be able to unload it easily.

You may be able to get it on to Cricket, but flashing to Pageplus seems to result in 3G data not working (only 1X data at best). The only phones that seem to work on 3G are ones with a Pageplus or a Verizon logo on them for the most part.

Barring a special radio firmware or something weird like that. the 4G likely won't work on any carrier except for USCC.

Verizon is supposed to make their GS3 model (which is not the R530) compatible with GSM networks as a 'world phone' in the future. Whether someone will be hacking up the radio firmware to make that work on R530 or if a new firmware will come out for the R530 to allow it is an unknown. I wouldn't make plans on something that may or may not happen.
