It's almost a BILLION dollar a year industry.

Many will be quick to point out that Ronald Regan started it (back in the land line days) but it's grown out of control. Rather ironic that one of his famous quotes is "A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have."
What should be done to change it? I'd rather see one land line per household than 6 cell phones.
