Would this phone be easy to use for someone that is older (poorer vision)? Also I planned on buying it on Amazon as a gift but is it exclusive to AT&T or tmobile I only get AT&T coverage.

Hooterville,
Best guess is you have a bad battery then. It happens.
TF will send you a replacement, probably a whole phone with a prepaid return envelope.
Call the Miami number or use their forum.

I saw this phone yesterday at a Walmart here in Tucson. Am currently using an LG800 which I
have been very happy with. My question is: What will the 3G on this phone do for us???
Faster web connection ?? I assume we still can/need to install Opera to use over Tracs
default browser??![]()
3G gives faster speeds, a new billing model (per byte instead of per minute), and generally higher data charges. (See the S390G and S425G threads).
Depending on the settings, MMS messages run 2.5 - 10x more. The default message size is probably 600KB which costs ~ 10units to send/receive. 300KB (the old default) costs ~ 5.5units (versus 1.5-2.0 with the old billing), 100KB messages cost ~2.5 units (v/s 1.5 units).
3G (in the case of AT&T) will also make sure that you can maintain service in those areas where AT&T is ending its 2G service, where older phones won't work.
I just picked one of these up from my local Walmart. Meijer had them too. I have a couple of questions about this phone. Is there a way to make the qwerty keyboard the default input method instead of having to choose the option? Also, is there a way to disable the startup and shutdown tones on this phone? Thanks for the help.
Another question. After downloading and installing touch style games for the LG T375, I can't seem to get rid of the navigation bar that comes up when the game loads. Any idea on how to get rid of that?
Edit: I also noticed this navigation bar when I installed Opera and tried using it. I cannot find a way to get rid of that thing. There isn't much viewing area when that thing is there.
Thanks yet again.

No one else has experienced this problem with their 840G? Maybe I purchased a faulty phone?
I have an LG800G, so it may not exactly jibe. But if I go to Games & Apps, and then press the options icon, one of the choices is Show Keypad. When I press that, my installed things get checkboxes. Then you can check or uncheck the option.
I don't have the lg 840g, but if you searched the menus and can't find any way to disable the navigation panel, then you might want to try to add the following line to the jad file, or if your not using a jad file, then to the manifest.mf in the jar file;
LGE-MIDlet-Display-Nav-Keypad: no
Reinstall the game or app and hopefully this will keep the navigation panel from appearing.
Picked up an LG 840G at Shopko here in WI.
Picked up my new LG 840G at the Napa CA Wally today. Charging now, will do the activation dance tomorrow. I plan to activate the 840 with a new phone number and transfer over my existing minutes - any special tricks for that?
