Is Sprint iphone compatible with at&t?

I have an iphone 4 for Sprint that is jailbroken. Is it possible to use this phone with at&t?

The 4 will not work across carriers as the CDMA/GSM models are completely separate. The 4S has combined CDMA/GSM internals but is hardware locked to either GSM or CDMA--I think it's a physical modification on the board and I haven't heard of it being possible.

The 5 can work, provided it is unlocked. Verizon's come unlocked out of the box, but I don't know about Sprint's. There is a video on Youtube of someone putting an ATT SIM in a Verizon 5, and it working fine. The caveat is that the Sprint/Verizon version of the 5 doesn't support the 700 band that ATT uses for LTE, so you're limited to HSDPA+ for "4G". The ATT version has hardware locked CDMA so it won't work on Verizon/Sprint.
