I believe there is no *228 activation for LTE devices. Just insert your active sim and you should be good to go.

You are correct. But I don't want to activate it, I just want to be able to play around with it before. Any ideas on bypassing the activation?

Use WiFi. Doesn't have to be activated for that.

Literally all you do is take the sim card tray out before turning it on, it gives you a skip option on the activation screen.

    Duh. I'm a nidiot.

So, has anyone been watching 1080p movies? How is the video experience?

That you have to see with your own eyes. You won't believe our words.

    I don't understand your remark.

I read reviews. Why wouldn't I also respect your opinions as valuable input?

Cause you simply have to SEE the 1080p high bitrate video on a DNA to comprehend what our words can possibly describe.
    It's magical.

    Explain this...
The DROID DNA doesn't have microSD, but its twin (HTC Butterfly) does.

Easy. Vzw nixed it. Possibly, in part, because making the HTC offering slightly less attractive helps sell RAZRs.

Thankfully, Sammy still has more clout, or backbone, or both.

Anyone Know which NFC smart tags definitely work with the DNA and the 8X? I am finding it hard to know which type or ones that work with them.

I bought the DNA as an upgrade on 2 of my lines and wouldn't you know it, my company gave me the exact same 2 devices today as holiday gifts. Now I need to sell them somehow, maybe in the 4 sale forum on here? I will sell them super cheap
