Example: I believe I read the Verizon iPhone 5 is supposed to be unlocked for (non-domestic) roaming. It supports the HSPA frequencies B/R/T use, so it should be usable here. http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=3913

The Sprint GS3 OP inquired about does not support LTE nor HSPA on any of the frequencies B/R/T use, so it would not work at all.

Some models may work, some will not, you have to do your research.

    micropaper,

    Greetings.

The Sprint variant of the Samsung GALAXY S III, SPH-L710, will NOT work on TELUS - UMTS/HSPA+ or LTE network. If you use it with an active Sprint account, it will ROAM on the TELUS' CDMA/EVDO network. However, if you intend to put it on a TELUS account, the policy will not allow you to register / activate a non-TELUS CDMA device.
