I can't seem to find the .vcf file to back up my contacts before doing a master reset. Any suggestions other than a master reset and loosing my contacts?
try deleting just the emails in the mail box for cleaning out the mail box has helped me be able to download new emails . Nikki

Good idea to clear out email. First try to see if deleting all the trash helps. It did for me once.

Thanks for the suggestions but I had already done those. Spent 45 minutes on the land line with TF CS yesterday. Ended up doing a master reset after all else failed. Thankfully I learned here how to save my contacts and photos before hand.I still can't receive email with yahoo mail but can send and all the error msgs have gone away. All my settings are exactly as Yahoo mail listed so not sure what is causing this. My gmail account works perfectly as does yahoo mail on my computer.

Update: All of a sudden it started working a minute ago. No idea why. I hope it stays that way now. Thank you for the suggestions.

Got my LG840g tracfone working. Yesterday I set up my e-mail to gmail, I checked my e-mail and received e-mails. Today I tried it and it states login failed, user name or password is incorrect. I re-checked my spelling etc. and tried many times and it keeps on giving me the same message....login failed. So I tried Facebook and yesterday it was working today it states login failed. I am trying both of these on Wi-fi. thanks ahead of time....for any answers.

I had the failed login . I deleted my gmail account. You delete it off the phone, not with Gmail itself (not the website). Then you go and add your email as a new account. Don't know about Facebook. Don't use it . Seems like it's same problem as email. Just want to be sure you dont delete the actual account. You only delete from the phone.
