    Transfer Retention Plan

I have a retention plan with data. I have a couple of credits on the account. I wanted to do a TOR, but Rogers said that they cannot transfer my plan unless the other person has the same codes on their account. I was able a couple of months ago do a TOR with my parent's plan which is the same one that I have without data and the credits. Was it just the rep or I can't do a TOR with a retention plan? Any ideas?

I called Rogers to check this as well. They told me I can't transfer the credits.

    Scare tactics.

They should remain on the line, but who's to say.

My recommendation? Find another provider, or a solid Rogers deal without any risk of losing 'credits'.

I recently received a plan from someone for $44.79. The unfortunate thing is that the credits although transferred to me expires in September, 2013. I will have to call retentions to see if I can renew those credits!
