Droid Maxx for VZ?

Useful link, thanks. A Nokia WP 6"+ phablet would def have my attn. Esp given all the seemingly malware-related issues that keep popping up with Android. Given vzw's great love for such things  it also could be yet another reason to jump to TMUS.
A big Nokia phablet would be even more attractive if it was i86 with the Bay Trail-T chip described in my link above.
This quad-Silvermont (newest Atom) 22nm Intel SoC does sound like the blow-em-outta-the-water thing Susurro alluded to and that you are anticipating. A dialed down 1.1mhz Intel SoC blows away the great 2.3mhz Snapdragon 800 in Antutu benchmark tests?!! Almost triples the performance of the Tegra T3! How? Is it about Susurro's "pipes"?

Couple more leaks that confirm everything we already knew
The white version of Droid Maxx?
AND bits about the other upcoming mid ranger?
Moto X (aka Motorola X Phone) – Leak Bonanza
Moto X not on agenda for upcoming Google event, says source
EV leaks also posted this:So from these devices only the XT1060 will arrive later by the end of the year? The others are the mid rangers that will be announced soon?To clarify: DROID Ultra=XT1080, DROID MAXX=XT1080M, DROID Mini=XT1030, and Moto X=XT1060

The white one is the Ultra and it is also a 5" 1280x720 1.7ghz S4 Pro MSM8960 1 GB RAM device with smaller battery and internal memory and very thin profile with wrap around kevlar body.
My friend hated it and it was totally uninteresting to me as well. It's like a RAZR packaged in a Samsung like body.
It was the first device he tested and I saw it about 7 weeks ago in a pre production body that he was told was NOT the release version, although it was white and looked very much like the EV Leaks image.
I was in a huge hurry that day and didn't have time to spend with him and was more interested in the test builds he had on his engineering model HD.
The MAXX is the one we both liked and had 32 GB internal and the 10 MP camera and advanced contextual awareness features.
He did not have the MINI version but had seen it and knew people in that group. He didn't care for it but said it was similar performance wise to the MAXX with lower resolution display and small form factor.
Either have SD? Hard battery?
MAXX display? Ultra's 5" is more than I expected.
I already posted that the MAXX has a 5" 1280x720 display, which is why I said "also" above referring to that prior info.
None of these has a removeable battery, but all have external SDcard support AFAIK, although I have not seen the MINI nor the Moto X.
Truly, 1.7mhz and 720p are spec compromises that will little affect most folks initial UX with these devices. Lack of SD and displays too small for web browsing /video would have. Google derived changes do look intelligently applied. These handsets could be close enough to the top that Moto build and radios will be legitimate plus factors at the anticipated price points.
Just to be clear — Should we be expecting the Moto X to be Motoogle's first attempt at a true 'Hero' device?

Tks for your feedback kbman.
More bits on the camera:
PS: it's funny how the "media" tech and blogs are completly oblivious as to what devices are coming
I wish I could just see the humor.
To me, it's more a sign that Motorola has slipped so far down in the public and media consciousness that doing a 'new Moto device' leak blog is just a rote fill-in-the-holes endeavor. It's not necessary to stay up on Moto stuff 'cuz Moto ain't where it's at – anymore.
So in general, how are fixed batteries working out for anyone? The reason I ask is my Bionic battery is in its "golden" years at 18 months. Til I know what I'm doing, I wouldn't consider a fixed one.
Did the Razr not come out at the same time? That should provide a parallel.

OK?? 1080p, 2gb ram, and Snapdragon 800?? And extreme VZW exclusive with no similar device allowed anywhere else. This could explain to sorta middle ground focus of the X phone if true......VZW want's to be exclusive with a higher end focused device....even if it lacks some of the nifty stuff of the X.....as part of the blackmail deal to swallow the X and marginalize it's potential market level at the same time. Why doesn't VZW just buy Moto off Google???
