Yes you just need to edit the APN for data and a jailbreak is required for MMS. I've used an AT&T 4S for over a year it has worked great

To get MMS to work you just need it unlocked to do the sim swap

Wait a minute!!! I'm beginning to look like a fool here, on the thread Rogers iPhone 4S on Straight Talk, I posted it needed to be unlock/jailbreak and TMO sim swap .OP Renegade1994 said, there's no need to unlock/jailbreak just stick the ST ATT sim, MMS works and the APN should be there. PLEASE!!!! Will someone set my course to the correct coordinance. I"m lost in the middle of the Pacific Ocean between Calif and Hawaya. Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me!!!!!!

My thought on this was that, since the phone is branded to Rogers, the ST SIM might work the same way as a T-Mo SIM does in an AT&T phone....so you might not actually need the T-Mo SIM to do the swap method. Also, as far as unlocking the phone for the swap method, I thought that was only necessary sometimes.....or does the Wiki page need to be updated again? The frequencies are the same for sure....3G should work fine. Regardless of whatever method you use, you do need to change the APN.
For instructions on using Androids with Straight Talk don't PM me....I don't usually answer....click here!

According to unlockit.nz, you can do the SIM swap method on a 4S WITHOUT unlocking, but only the 4S.

If you have an AT&T iphone 4s you don't need to jailbreak. Easiest way is to buy a Tmobile sim off of ebay for around 3 or 4 dollars and use it to access the APN settings. There are several videos and posts about this online.

So long as its AT&T iPhone 4s there is no need to unlock, just do the sim swap t mobile. Correct? Does it also applies to iPhone 5 from all carrier that has them? Thanks for the enlightment. I don't have an iPhone, just trying to comprehend.
We were talking about getting the following.
    1. Talk (out of the box, should work)
    2. Text (SMS out of the box, should work)
    3. Data ( I'm not sure, is this where you unlock? or I'm misguided, since its an AT&T phone, should be able to put APN)
    4. MMS (is this where you do the T-MO sim swap)
Will all the above function without unlocking and jailbreaking?

Out of the box you get talk and text. You do the sim swap if you NOT jailbreak or unlock. Sim swap you get data and mms. You do NOT need to do unlockitz if you do sim swap. This is only 4s and Sometimes I have heard it might work for ip4 and 3gs, but i am not sure about the ip5. And yes this is for GSM ATT 4S.
