I'm just wondering how secure Shaw Hotspots are? I want to use it on my iPad, but I have my work email (Exchange) on the device, so I won't use it if my information could be compromised. I tried searching the forums and Google for info, but I didn't find much on the topic.

Not sure if you got your answer, but although I'm sure Shaw has pretty good security, no Wifi I know of is considered very secure.
But on the plus side, I knocked over the SunSphere.

    Muh Plan:
    U/L Canadawide Calling
    U/L Picture/Video/Text Messaging
    5 GB Data
    $55/month less 10% for BYOD

Thanks for replying. No, I didn't get any response yet.

Your home wifi is secure (assuming you lock it down). I was just curious if the Shaw hotspots offered similar security because of the login requirement. I'm assuming not, as it's still technically an open network.
