Not sure what the difference between android and smartphone is in the data plan, but we got it. And ended up with the $4.99 btv aal too without her telling me about it. Win in my book.
The smartphone unlimited web does not work on Tmobile android phones.

That's not quite correct. The android unlimited is soft capped at 5GB. T-zones has no cap at all.

The advantage to Android unlimited is that it will work with any smartphone. Many T-Mobile branded Android phones are blocked from using T-zones.

Called 611. They could not apply either BTV discounts to my NW300 plus Total Internet plan.

At one time, the web site was offering the new 4.5GB data plan for $30 as a replacement for the $19.99 total internet. It has not displayed this offer for over a week.

Yes, I just checked via the mobile browser site and I have the 100MB access as well. Thanks for discovering that.

BTV is for legacy pooling plans.

I got the $5 BTV data on one of my lines today. The other one is eligible end of this month. When I tried to do a phone upgrade for iPhone 5 online, I didn't complete the order. But, that process removed all BTV discounts that was applied. When I chatted with Customer Care earlier today, I was told that an account specialist can put it back. So, called now and spoke to account specialist (say "cancel" at the prompt) and was able to add the $5 "Unlimited Preferred Androind Web Only" plan.

That's unusual. You're not taking a subsidy so it shouldn't affect BTV. But their website has been putting changes through without actually confirming so I'm not surprised.

My line is eligible for BTV in a week so I'll be calling in for that.

The iPhone order had somehow gone thru for processing, though it was not submitted. I had BTV on 4.5gb tethering for $15. Now got $5/5gb no tethering.

Yeah I'm debating what I want to do. I'd like tethering but $5/5GB is a bargain. Makes me not miss my $2.99 T-Zones as much

I got my first partial bill and my 4.5GB $30 data (that's supposed to be $15 with BTV) was not reduced. My AALs were reduced though. I was messing around on MyT-Mobile and switched to the 6.5GB plan, and now it says "reduced price" where it didn't say that before. It also shows up as $25 (instead of $40). My old supposed $15 (reg $30) BTV data still showed $30 which should have been a clue to me.

My base plan also changed to "FamTime Unl Nts 500 BTV" where it didn't say BTV before. So.. I guess this month I have 6.5GB of data for $25 and I put in a feature change to the 4.5GB plan for $15 effective at my next billing cycle.

Which family plan do you have? Your plan is not the same as preferred ft 600 nw for $49.99,is it? Thanks. I'm suprised they changed your base plan by adding btv next to it... I'm just afraid if a yr down the line they will say pple can't have btv anymore as its supposed to be a bridge...

I (used to) have the Pref FT 600 NW plan, it is now showing up as 'Pref FT 600 NW BTV' after my BTV savings kicked in. It doesn't state a pricing change, but I got $5 off my base plan rate on my last bill.

My FT plan now says BTV on it now in addition to all AAL moving to BTV. My bill should post later this month so I will report back on if I get an additional discount on the base plan. All this without lifting a finger. Cool!
