Bell coverage map shows future LTE coverage in Saskatchewan

    http://www.bell.ca/coverage

Bell is now showing future LTE coverage in Saskatchewan including Regina and Saskatoon, but still nothing for Manitoba.

Would this mean that Bell has inked a deal with Sasktel for LTE?

I believe Sasktel is purchasing their LTE infrastructure through a deal with Bell. Bell may even be assisting in the build-out. At least that was the impression they gave me when I followed the money a little while back.

From the get-go though Bell said they would provide LTE roaming onto the Sasktel network.

Please Note: I do not work for Bell. I also do not work for any wireless retail outlet.
Do not ask me about promotions or offers from wireless providers.

From talking to a Bell store manager in Regina, the LTE share was never a question of if, but rather when. The deal should apply to Telus as well. From what he was saying, Bell was helping SaskTel with the implementation and rollout of the LTE systems. Hopefully SaskTel can rollout LTE throughout Saskatchewan quickly throughout 2013

Bell did not assist in the SaskTel LTE rollout. Infact, Bell and Telus were not initially involved in the SaskTel LTE launch, and that's the reason for the delay for Bell and Telus being able to use LTE in Saskatchewan. They came late to the party.

But, the benefit for SaskTel customers is that they will have access to roam on Telus/Bell LTE.
