VZW GS3 on Net10 CDMA BYOP

I have a Verizon GS3 that was purchased out right and have no contract obligation with Verizon with this phone. I would like to bring this phone to the newly announced net 10 CDMA network. What would I need to get from Verizon in order to make my phone operable on net10 CDMA network MVNO.

Does anyone else have a net10 CDMA plan on Verizon network and have any issues, for LTE phones are they allowed LTE speeds and FULL Verizon Network coverage access to towers thanks for any help.

Technically you could obtain a Net10 phone on the Verizon network and clone the ESN to your GS3 but many people think it is illegal and it is technically challenging. You are far better off taking your GS3 to Page Plus, a Verizon MVNO with better US based customer service. They offer great rates and resellers like and Callingmart often discount PP+ airtime refills. If you want LTE your best bet is to stick with Verizon prepaid @ $70 per month for talk, text and 2gb data, less if buying your airtime from someone like callingmart.

net10/straight talk/tracfone will not activiate any cdma phone that they do not sell.
you will have a very tough time trying to keep the phone active.

The way Net10/Straight Talk is set up, there is no provision for bringing outside CDMA phones to them for service, totally unlike the situation for GSM phones. And for the Straight Talk/Net10 branded CDMA phones there is no LTE service.

"Newly announced Net10 CDMA network"? Not trying to be flip, but where have you been? Judging by the single post, not here on Howard Forums. Spend some time reading here; it will benefit you greatly.
