Porting from Net10 to Straight Talk

(I thought that this question was posted last night, so if it is a duplicate, sorry!)

Due to data problems, MMS problems and a few other issues, I plan to port my Net10 number to Straight Talk.
I have a ST ATT SIM on the way, I believe from Flea Bay.

The Net10 number I will be porting was recently transferred from Verizon Wireless and the process was very fast and smooth. When I did the Verizon->Net10 port they asked me, IIRC, for my Verizon Account Number, Phone Number to port, last 4 of my SSAN and Account PIN/Password. I am assuming that I will be asked for similar confirming information for the Net10->ST port.

I obviously know my Phone Number, but never gave Net10 my SSAN, and I can not find any account number or PIN on my Net10 account page.

What will Straight Talk require from me for the port?

Going from Net 10 to Straight Talk will be smooth as silk. You should just need the phone number and serial number. All you are doing is an internal port between 2 members of the same company.

share that experience with us here.cause many are thinking of leaving st and going over to net10 because of the data issues they are having with st.being net10 has the 1.5gb data limmit on att sims and that is what many are calling for with st to define therw data thing more clearly.

On my Daughters Nexus4 I have tried many, many Net10 APNs and data is only working about 50% of the time. Sending MMS just.does.not.work

There have been some that have had luck getting MMS to work, but none of those techniques worked for me.

These experiences are on a new activation with little data use that would trigger a "cap" .

My wife's ST/AT&T phone seems to work great as well as my Son-In-Law's ST/AT&T phone. All are Google Nexus4 devices so that is as pure and generic a phone as you will find.

I possibly could be jumping from the frying pan to the fire by switching but the current state of affairs is not sustainable.

The good news is voice and texting seem good, but I can't justify spending $50/month for that. Might as well get a $25 plan with a free phone from the Walmart website for that.
