    $70 T-Mobile Unlimited vs. Solavei

Besides Customer Service, is there any difference between the two? Does the native T-Mobile plan have better roaming agreements or data speeds?

T-Mobile prepaid does not have roaming. Postpaid does have roaming. Solavei has roaming but watch out for data roaming. Do it too much they will cut the data roaming off but voice and text roaming will still work.

T-Mobile prepaid doesn't have call forwarding. Postpaid does and Solavei does.

    Hotspot works with Solavei also.

Plans are also cheaper with Solavei.

T-Mobile prepaid has the same roaming as postpaid.

T-Mobile's 70.00 month plan has unlimited, non throttled data.

T-Mobiles prepaid plan has Wi-Fi calling.

It's more money, but you also get more.

Actually prepaid does not have data roaming. I should have been more clear. There is voice and text roaming.

Solavei also has prepaid international long distance calling.

If Wi-fi calling is needed, the new Facebook App now supports it too

With Solavei you get the opportunity to lower the bill and earn more, you will stay the same at $70 with Tmob.

The main drawback as far as I've heard (unconfirmed) is Solavei has speed cap around 17mbps.

I have not heard of that. I have always averaged around 8mbps download speed with T-Mobile directly and Solavei which isn't close to the 17mbps. I have heard of others getting download speeds faster than 20mbps with Solavei in some areas.

Tmos $70 month plan includes hotspot feature. 500mb worth. If you split the unlimited plan with a friend you each only pay $60. I just did this. (Drops further across three people etc)

I'm happy with what I got, (except the coverage as expected) Funny detail I discovered is that the voice quality is definitely better compared to ATT/ST.

Tethering on Solavei is a violation of the TOS.

    Hey there,

I am a Solavei member. I have had many issues and you can see my postings on the support.solavei.com forum. Because I have complained and had no resolve after posting, Solavei has blocked me from posting any more. They have silenced any complaint I could make about them. Their support is terrible.

Short summary of my problem is I was throttled on my data last month and my service renewed on April 17th but my data speeds never returned to 4G data speeds, they remained throttled at 2G speeds. I contacted Solavei support first on April 20th and there after my data was turned off.

Expect that if you join Solavei and they throttle yo u at any point do not expect to return to regular 4G speeds anytime after. You are SOL.

I read through your complaints. On the 25th you should have 4g again correct? That's what they were saying anyway. Report back to us on the 25th about your data.
