Sprint Galaxy S4 - unlock for straight talk, possible?

I went last night and purchased a cell phone thinking it was unlocked on ebay then come to find out it was not. Is it possible to unlock the sprint galaxy S4 - 9500 to work with Straight talk? I need to know pretty quickly because if not i have to try to resell the phone. Thanks for your help

get the T-Mobile version, it has all the bands at&t uses and then some. if you're sight is AT&T version, wait till the 10th of this month, the 32g version will be on sale then, 16g version, you'll only have 9g available for your use.

I thought the i9500 was international unlocked GSM and 9505 was CDMA yours will have a better processor than the American versions and possibly an easier to root and install roms I know Att locks their boot loader.

This is the response i got from straight talk,

My name is Sara from Straight Talk Wireless. I will be addressing your issue today. No, The Samsung Galaxy S4 won't work for our Bring Your Own Phone (BYOP) program. Should you need further assistance, feel free to send us an email at ST.CorpResolutionTeam at straighttalk.com. Thank you.

Has anyone verified that the T-Mobile version has worked? the phone was listed on ebay as i9500 and CDMA/LTE.

The GSM version would have to however for the same price I would get the international version. Have you looked into Verizon mvnos.

The i9500 is NOT a CDMA phone. Not sure where you got that idea. Unless you believed the op when he said it was the Sprint version?
    Galaxy S4 i9500

Dude, if you bought a Sprint S4 it was NOT the "i9500". The Sprint S4 is SPH-L720.

The Galaxy S4 i9500 is not the Sprint model -- it's UNLOCKED INTERNATIONAL GSM/HSPA+ S4. And it WILL work with Straight Talk "AT&T".

    WHAT did you buy?

This is the Sprint version of the S4 -- model SPH-L720 --on ebay.

This is the unlocked international S4 -- model i9500 on eBay.

Do you know what you actually bought?

Good advice. And the T-mobile model number is SGH-M919.
